Controlled chaos generates sudden new perspectives. A wall becomes an unexpected surface, and transplanted into the domestic space, irregular forms emerge that recall the fragments of a cliff face. Unexpected, like the form of each shelf in the Serendipity collection, born from unfinished travertine slabs whose jagged edges are left raw, shaped by the stone itself. The brass pins, polished, precise and geometric, contrast with the raw irregularity of the stone. The form is found, not designed.

Il caos, quando controllato, genera nuove prospettive improvvise. Una parete diventa una superficie inattesa, e trapiantati nello spazio domestico, emergono forme frastagliate che ricordano i frammenti di una scogliera. Casualmente, come la forma di ogni mensola della collezione Serendipity che nasce da lastre in travertino non rifinite. Il bordo frastagliato ricorda la naturalezza e la forza degli scogli a picco sul mare, mentre i supporti in ottone, lucidi, precisi e geometrici, contrastano con l’irregolarità della pietra. La forma è trovata, non progettata.
